Pops Bayless Workshop – Ukulele Strumming Techniques

This is an Intermediate Level Workshop

2 hours in duration

Date: Saturday, August 8, 2009

Time: noon till 2:00pm

Pops Bayless brings over three decades of performing experience. He is a founding member of The Asylum Street Spankers and the Shorty Long Band. His Off-Broadway musical review, American Novelty, premiered at the Theatre For the New City in Manhattan, NYC, April of 2006. Pops' original music has been used in various film and television projects including MTV's Austin Stories and the film No Vacancy. He is currently playing jazz and blues with Bernson & Bayless. Perhaps the only professional ukulele player working full time in Texas, Pops is known for his rousing right hand strums, original novelty jazz songs and a new found penchant for playing the Blues on the ukulele. An accomplished teacher, Pops will have you playing in nothing flat … and drooling for more.
