Pete Wernick's Bluegrass Jam Camp in Argyle, TX
March 5-7, 2008, Wednesday - Friday prior to the Argyle Bluegrass Festival at the Faith Harvest Church, Argyle, TX. approximately 30 miles North of Fort Worth.
Open to pickers of ALL bluegrass instruments. Closet pickers, this is for you! No jamming experience necessary--you will be jamming the first morning!
A combination of classroom and hands-on instruction by an experienced, understanding teacher. (9:15-5:00 daily.) You will be grouped with others according to experience, and do a lot of jamming, sometimes guided, sometimes on your own!
Pete ("Dr. Banjo") Wernick will give group and individual pointers on instrumental technique, harmony singing, and the how-to's of a variety of jam situations.
