Folk Music at Weatherbury Farm: Weekend Intermediate Hammered Dulcimer Workshop with Kendra Ward

Mastering the Hammered Dulcimer!
Kendra Ward, with help from Bob Bence, will teach an in depth workshop designed to help students master the hammered dulcimer! This workshop is designed to transform the beginner player to the intermediate player with all the skills and knowledge that every player should learn.. Scales, arpeggios, hand coordination exercises, breaking out of the safe “box”, and tunes will be taught. This will be followed with adding harmony ideas and arrangement ideas using chord note harmony, drones, and rhythm. Students will be amazed at what they can do!
