Folk Music Society of NY Winter Weekend
February 6 to 8, 2009, at the Warwick Conference Center in Warwick, New York (40 mi NW of NYC). This is a free form weekend of jamming, singing, and relaxation in pretty and peaceful surroundings. This one of the best events of the year. A chance to jam non-stop all weekend. Wonderful things happen when you put people together in a room with instruments and voices for that length of time with no interruptions (except for food, bathrooms, and sleep). You remember songs you thought you had forgotten. Harmonies seem to create themselves. Unexpected instrumental combinations happen.
