Illinois State Shape Note Singing Convention

Mark your calendar now and plan to come to the 23rd annual Illinois State Shape Note Singing Convention. It will be held September 15-16 from 10 - 3:30 pm at the Christian County Historical Museum at the junction of state highways 29 and 48 in Taylorville. Watch for the fasola signs. This was the site of last year's convention and proved to be a good one!

There is a Super 8 motel adjacent to the museum (217.287.7211). Other smaller motels in Taylorville are the Gaslight Motel (217.824.4941) and the 29 West Motel (217.824.2216). We will sing from the 1991 Denson Sacred Harp book and the 2005 Missouri Harmony. There will be a Saturday night social at a location to be announced.
