Bluegrass Retreat / Camp workshops/ Jams/ and Show

The Bluegrass Shack will be having it's first Annual Bluegrass Retreat at
Lake Sallateeska, in Pinckneyville, Il.This event begins Fri.at 7p.m with
a Potluck Meal,"Meet& Greet" ~Free!Please bring your instument and food to share. If we can arrange it we're looking for someone to teach and call square dancing.
Sat. Aug.28th. 9:00a.m.Banjo workshop/knowing your banjo inside & out.
This workshop will be a hands-on workshop. You will learn how to take your banjo apart and put it back together again. 2 to 3hr. $30
Also, basic Banjo,Fiddle,Mandolin and Guitar workshops.1 hr.$10 @

Shows ~Gen.Admision-$10 for all shows, 12 and under free 13-17yr.& Seniors $5
4 -6p.m. Hee Haw Show, 6p.m Dinner Break,Food available at Camp,(need to make reservations) 7:00 p.m.-? Bands perform; The Chris Talley Trio,Charlie and the Girls, The Pick'n Chicks,& More.
Sun.10:00 Gospel Show-featuring John & Rosemary Brewer, and Stan & Abby Farlow (Free but donations excepted.) Onsite, RV hook ups,motel rooms,and group bunk houses.Cafeteria on site.
