The didjeridu is a traditional Aboriginal instrument used in rituals, dances
and ceremonies. Many people think that there is a healing quality to the low
frequency sounds that it produces. You'll learn how to create a sound, get an
introduction to circular breathing techniques, and explore vocalizations and
rhythms. Michael Stanwood is a five time winner of the Best of Westword
award and performs with Yeabut Shoehead, and the Buzz Band. Check out
his CD "Arc of a Buzz". If you own a didjeridu bring it, otherwise, Michael will
provide instruments for you to use. Beginners and Intermediate.
