beats in your soul. Using Djembes, drumsticks, and body percussion, Sina
McOwens will help you develop technique, hand coordination and traditional
rhythms in an ensemble setting. Based on Mickey Hart's (Greatful Dead)
technique, philosophy, and work with drummers from around the world, this
class will introduce you to sounds, beats, and drums from West Africa, Cuba,
The Caribbean, and many other percussion cultures.
Absolute beginners welcome and encouraged. Drumsticks and Djembe
provided.
