The Bodhran (pronounced Baw-rawn) is the drum that provides the driving
rhythm behind Irish music. Made of stretched goat skin on a wooden rim and
played with a single beater, its simple design yields a variety of complex
and interesting sounds. Learn
basic playing techniques and rhythms. If you don't have a drum, a large
(unused) pizza box will work to get you started.
