Banjo Skills

Pete Wernick -aka Dr. Banjo- is a member of FLEXIGRASS and Hot Rize,
and has played with everyone from Doc Watson to Bill Monroe to Jerry
Garcia. Pete will cover the essential banjo in a friendly, "safe" situation for
inexperienced and closet players. Create basic solos both worked-out and
improvised, jam, and everyone can participle at their own level, including
total novices! Also, backup pointers, jamming etiquette and how to beat
timing problems. Practicing tips and standard licks. Please know G, C, and
D7 and TITM roll. Come see Pete and FLEXIGRASS play at Swallow Hill
Friday, April 10th then take the workshop Saturday April 11th.
