Biography
I play bass for 3 bands a local country/rock band RiverGard, another local country band CrossThread and also for a local (Never playing anywhere) punk band Jedi Superstar, some new music is in the works.
Every Sunday at Jersey's 7:30 - 10:30 CrossThread hosts Couuntry Round UP, it's an open country (some rock) jam and everyone is welcome to come listen and/or play. We started the jam in Sepetember and without a single practice as a group we all clicked! In just a few weeks we have playing songs none of us had ever played (some never heard) and have just a solid great time! So much we have been starting early and playing late! The Jam has been doing so great Sunday nights is starting to look like a Friday at Jersey's. We are also starting to take the Country Round Up Jam to other locations. Starting December 4th we head to Tonahills on Thursday Nights! So two great clubs and two great nights to get your Jam on!
My wife and some friends run the KChost Radio Network and we produce original radio content for many AM/FM and Internet Radio Station. Our shows are The NightWatch Show, The Wild Wild Westmar Show, The Anvil of Crom, Riff Revolution and In Dreams. We are currently working on a new all Paranormal radio network with some new fresh shows in the production stage!... Keep in touch The NightWatch Network will luanch soon!
I have a small but pretty nice guitar collection (I think so); An 1983 Ibanez RoadStar II, a Lotus Less Paul Copy and an American Standard Stratocaster. My main instument is Bass and I play a Conklin, Ibanez and my primary bass is a new Geddy Lee Fender Jazz.
The Bass Rig. I was running a Hartke 2000 through a 2x10 on a 1x15 cabs but it seemed like I didn't have enough power and not the right sound. So I went out and bought an Ampeg BA210, it was ok at first and has a great sound but just seemed to get worse in terms of electronics (the DI buzzed) and cracking noises. I finally got fed up and went out and bought an Ashdown 414T Cab, it's a 4x10 with a Tweeter. So now I am back to my Hartke 2000 pushing 200 watts through the new 600watt Ashdown cab. So far I am very impressed! I will run with this for a while and we will see if I go with my original plan of buying an Ashdown Klystron 1000 Amp or just pick up another Ashdown Cab and stick with the Hartke.
I am not into Drugs! I do drink but I am not a drunk. I am 38 years old married to my high school sweetheart with two children; a 14 year old girl and 5 year old boy I named after Rush "Neil Alexander Lee". I am very rational and level headed person with a good since of humor (even if the joke is on me). I am a small business owner and an advanced web application developer that is very lucky to be a work from home Dad. Since the first of this year my company has started to pick up! Woot!
I am usualy playing somwhere 2-5 nights a week.
