Stringin Swing

I am a guitarist of 30+ years' experience. My first love was The Beatles. Jazz and Swing, with an emphasis on The Great American Songbook, tunes from the 1920's-1940's, became an obsession 20 years ago and that's essentially where I'm at now. Recently, I began "teaching" myself fingerstyle guitar and practically overnight that became my main style. I also do some chord melody-style flatpicking. Really, I'd love to connect with people to play jazz, swing, standards -- or even some '60's and folk. I'm fairly open, as I just want to play. My big hope is to form a duo or a small combo, to give good songs a unique treatment.
