My name is Joseph L. Snurr, Sr. from Baxter County, AR.
I began guitar in the late 60's, then in 1985, I started playing bass at church. I learned fast.

In the 1990's, I began singing and playing in church in the services.

In 2008, I got my bass fiddle, which I learned on the fly with Blue Dogwood Bluegrass Band.

Presently, I play in church at times, and I sing and play with the Basye Family Band from Lakeview, AR. We do nursing homes, occasional church functions, and such.

There is a desire in my heart to play in far more Churches, because I love the fellow Believers, and my Love is Gospelgrass. There's nothing like playing and singing Gospel Bluegrass music.
