I have had a lifelong interest in traditional music. I played guitar as a teenager, and as an adult taught myself dulcimer, fiddle and mandolin and mandola. I have been involved with several music organizations and have run jams and sessions. I enjoy playing bluegrass, old time, Irish and gospel.In particular, I love Carter family and the Louvin' Brothers. I am a member of a sacred harp singing group and enjoy going to all day singings. Most of all, I love to sing, especially harmony. I have attended the Indiana Fiddler's Gathering at Battleground yearly, since childhood. I am interested in promoting traditional old time music and preserving it for future generations.
