Biography

I am a shuttle bus driver and a writer, living in Chicago.
I am avidly interested in the history of the U.S. Life-Saving Service, which was the predecessor of the U.S.Coast Guard. I've played acoustic guitar for 40 years, playing mostly folk and novelty music. I know just about every tune and lyric John Prine has written, and am a big fan of bluegrass, old-time, string band and just about any acoustic music. Bryan Bowers is one of my favorites and I love playing along with his CD's. I attended a jam session in Grand Rapids, Michigan, hosted by the Blue Water Ramblers in August, 2008, and had the time of my life! Jamming with other musicians, meeting new friends, and making music are some of the best things in life!
