Start a jam using our groups

We've replaced this forum with our groups functionality. When you create a group you can optionally give it a city. Doing this puts the group on our maps integrated with other event listings. Other musicians who are looking for jams near you will also see your group pin.

Unlike a forum, where your post will eventually fall off of the front page, the pin you place on the map here will always be right where you want it - on the map in front of visitors whether they look at the site next week or next year.

Hello Folkjam!
I am a mandolin player in Royal Oak looking for other players to set up some kind of jam session. If there are any others in a semi-close proximity interested, please respond to this message and we'll see if we can get something organized.

I'm Interested in Bluegrass, Newgrass, Country, Blues, and even some Irish stuff. However I'd definitely be open to explore new territory if people are interested.
