organize a jam
We've replaced this forum with our groups functionality. When you create a group you can optionally give it a city. Doing this puts the group on our maps integrated with other event listings. Other musicians who are looking for jams near you will also see your group pin.
Unlike a forum, where your post will eventually fall off of the front page, the pin you place on the map here will always be right where you want it - on the map in front of visitors whether they look at the site next week or next year.
Wouldn't it be great to have a Christian Jam on December 31st? We can worship into the NEW YEAR~!
We're part of the Westport Woodsongs Club in Kansas City, MO and we're looking for accoustical people interested in worshiping together on a weekly or monthly basis, starting January 31st of this year. Whether Beginner or experienced, singer or percussionists, you're welcome to come, and if you like it, we'll keep coming together!:)
Hi, Im trying to find other musicians that are at the beginning/intermediate level. Would like to start a jam in Skagit Valley.
I want to start Harmony or Bluegrass Gospel Music at my place, Urbana, Mo.
I have the building and the seats but I do not have anyone to start it with me. There has to be a partition installed in the house so people can use the restroom. Some things need done. Is there any volunteers? When the weather gets cold there has to be people to help me install a wood stove. I want the jam to be during daylight hours.
any body interested? Huh?

Our next JamFest will be this Saturday, August 20th at Jackson Street BBQ, on the square in Kaufman, Texas.
We’ll kick things off at 6:00 p.m. with a song circle for about an hour, so be ready to lead a few of your favorites. At around 7:00 or so, we’ll have Open Mic for anyone who wants to take part. Open Mic is available for individuals or groups.
Remember, the more pickers and singers we have, the more music we have, so be sure and bring folks with you.
We look forward to seeing everyone there.
As always, Kaufman JamFest is an Acoustic Only event.
We have a nucleus of jammers (5) but we need more to make it really work. Thinking of 1 or 2 times a month. We now meet once a week but the place is too small. We can find a place if we get more committed. Bruce Gair (703) 407-2327 or wbgair@gmail.com.
We are starting a new Acoustic Jam in Kaufman, Texas, with the first event being held on Saturday, July 16.
Bluegrass, Country, & Folk musicians, vocalists, and fans are invited to join us for our kick-off.
If you are interested or have any questions, please feel free to contact us at kaufmanjamfest@gmail.com.
Thanks.
