Old-Time Jam

We meet at the old Columbia Grounds coffeeshop (may soon be called "Lily's") on 32nd and Central in NE Minneapolis every Sunday morning. The jams last from 9 or 10 a.m. until noon or perhaps 1 p.m., in a good day. Everyone welcome.

Community Dinner Gospel and Bluegrass Jam

This Jam is in Ham Lake Minnesota at Glen Cary Lutheran Church. We will have this jam the 2nd Friday of every month. This Jam will be open to all abilities and all acoustic instruments. We do allow electric Bass's. There is a small PA that we pass mics around to the song leaders, if you choose to use them on your turn. We will have experienced jammers, singers, onlookers and newbies. This Jam will coincide with a free community dinner that our church sponsors the same night. Jamming will be in a seperate area from the dinner, but within earshot.

Acoustic Sunday Jam

A "mountain-style" jam at a beautifully restored, historic neighborhood bar in artsy Northeast Minneapolis. All acoustic instruments welcome, although we do have some "pluggers" occasionally, too. Not an "open mic", not an "open stage". This is a true jam where everyone gets to participate as much or as little as desired. 1st and 3rd Sundays (folkjam would not let me choose this, so it's listed as weekly...sorry!)
