We convene on the SECOND Tuesday of each month and have been meeting for over ten years. We encompass a number of ability levels, and we welcome and encourage all to join in: pickers, singers and those who simply want to listen to Bluegrass, Old Time/Appalachian, traditional acoustic music with a bit of old country music as well.

Black Mountains Monthly Bluegrass Session

A pleasant country pub is the venue for this regular bluegrass jam. It is a relaxed affair with local band 'Black Mountain Bluegrass' providing the core of the session, with many itinerant players turning up on the night. Somebody will think of a tune or song and kick it off and we take things from there, giving solos to those that want them. A lot of fun is to be had on the third Tuesday of the month, for players and listeners alike. Please Note that the VENUE HAS CHANGED.

Hereford Monthly Bluegrass Session At The Barrels

Every first Wednesday of the month the Bluegrass session that used to be at The Priory, Stretton Sugwas, will move into the centre of Hereford city, to The Old Brewery Bar, The Barrels, 69 St. Owen's St, Hereford HR1 2JQ as from Sept 07. The format is gonna be much the same as at the Priory I reckon: pickin' starts at around 8pm and we welcome players and listeners alike.

We encompass a number of ability levels, and we welcome and encourage all to join in: pickers, singers and those who simply want to listen to Bluegrass, Old Time/Appalachian, traditional acoustic music with a bit of old country music as well. We play tunes and sing songs too.
