At last the long awaited latest Worlds of Trad upload is on air and streaming even as you read this. Again, I have to apologise for the cumbersome delay, but the class war has taken off like a rocket recently, and I seem to spend my every waking hour fighting cuts and closures and swingeing attacks on all manner of decent hard working people.
I am writing to let people know to always remember to be kind-- you were in these individuals place-just learning-- but awful to say- people treat other individuals so cruel--pushing them aside-rude insults-I guess they were not taught how to treat people or just don't care-- except for themselves- I went to a popular jam in the central michigan area and it seemed you get treated like that. It also depends on what your name is--Sorry to vent-but people you think before they act.
I played at a Jam last Sunday and when a bass player was leaving he said we ought to get together and I could help him and he could help me with some "timing issues" in my playing. I first thought what timing issues? I play everyday, so what was wrong with my timing. I played to day and realized that while I play everyday, I play a lot alone without others. I noticed that unless I really concentrated I got lax with a steady beat.

Anybody tried the new 10 string banjo? How was it?
I have been dying to build a mandolin for ages now. F5 or F2 model preferably. But I have very little experience with this sort of thing, and there are a few tools I am missing, that I cannot afford to get. But I do have blueprints and an instruction book for an F5 mandolin by Roger Siminoff of Siminoff mandolins. And I was hoping to find someone in Wichita, Kansas who can help me build one.I have been looking everywhere but I can't seem to find ANYONE. If you exist PLEASE talk to me. Or if anyone has any good luthery advice for me, please share.Cheers all!
ever had a 12 string guitar that was hard to fret because the action was high or the neck was starting to warp? I like to have a 12 string around for certain tunes but I can't afford to invest a ton of money for an instrument I keep at concert pitch and play only once in a while.
I'm TASCAM or Sony digital recorder for recording jams and livingroom sessions. Anybody ever use one or own one? Looking for an advice or opinions. - -- -Big AL
How do you add a picture to an account? It's not at all clear how this is done. Thanks.
I found a cassette tape with two incredible singers. The only identification on it is Susanne & Dad, J.F. Stover. The voices include a man on guitar and a young girl who can harmonize wonderfully. Are there any other tapes by Susanne and dad, Thanks for any help! Aria
