Open bluegrass jam every Friday night at Rocky Branch Community Center in Walland, TN. Every 2nd Friday is "Stage Night" where local "bands" play on stage with a PA in 30-min. time slots. There are multiple jamming rooms in the converted school.
The RBCC is located on Rocky Branch road in Walland. From Maryville (home of the Kaufman Acoustik Kamp), take Hwy 321 towards Townsend. About 7 miles from Maryville there is an antique store on the right. Turn right at the antique store (directly across from "Pure Pleasure" Adult Book Store) on to Rocky Branch Rd. The RBCC is about 1/8 mile on the left. Pickin' starts around 6pm and gets "good" by 7:30 or 8:00 pm....

Approximately 15 mi. from Pigeon Forge...take Wears Valley Rd. out of Pigeon Forge to Townsend...right at traffic light...about 5 miles to Rocky Branch Road on the left...300 yds. Rocky Branch Community Center on the right....
