Historic Town Square Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Jam

The Collierville, TN, Historic Town Square Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Jam will begin its 13th season on April 13, 2012. The jam begins around 6:30-ish and runs ‘til around 10:30-ish PM local time each Friday night. It lasts ‘til the last picker leaves. All skill levels are welcome. Players are encouraged to bring their instruments, families, and friends. No amplifiers, please! Public park rules apply: No alcohol, drugs, or solicitation.

During the winter months (mid-October to mid-April), the jam is indoors at the Collierville United Methodist Church, located at 454 W. Poplar Avenue. Our 2011-2012 winter jam at the Methodist Church began on Friday, October 14, 2011. From that date until approximately April 13, 2012, we will be indoors. Beginning on April 13, 2012, we will return to the Collierville Historic Town Square for our outdoor season (mid-April to mid-October).

Special Note: No jam at Collierville UMC on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's or Easter weekends. Following the Christmas and New Year's holidays, the indoor jam will resume at the church on January 6, 2012.

Dates for beginning and ending at our two pickin' locations are always approximate. Weather conditions determine our going out to the town square and returning indoors.
