Kingston Jam Session

Sessions are held at the Kingston Free Library - Rte 138 and College Rd in Kingston near URI. Occasional Mondays 7pm - 9pm.

This session is still active as of July 2010, but occasionally misses a night. Best to check with the library or Harry B, if you are driving a long distance. Nice folks, very welcoming, they play an advanced beginner to intermediate level of mostly old time fiddle tunes from New England, Canada, or Appalachia, with occasional songs. This is not a Bluegrass session with people trading breaks, more old-timey with everyone playing together.
