Songwriters Night and Open Mic

Soulshine Pizza Factory, Cathead Vodka, and the Oxford Songwriters Association are excited the announce the merging of the original Songwriters Night with an Open Mic experience. The series will take place on October 5th & 19th, and November 2nd and 16th. The open mic sign up will begin at 8 pm at Soulshine Pizza Factory (308 South Lamar Oxford, MS). There will be two feature artists in the mix of the open mic schedule. Be sure to bring out your friends, because the audience will be casting the vote for the open mic portion of the night. We will take the highest amount of votes out of the four nights of the series. The winner will be awarded a paid solo gig at Soulshine in December, Cathead Vodka merchandise package, $100.00 tour fund, membership to the Oxford Songwriters Association for 2012 and various other prizes from our sponsors. Contestants are welcome to play as many of the four nights they wish. Please come out and support these emerging musicians!
