Join in for a very open, relaxed acoustic jam every Thursday from 7:15 - 9:15 pm at Focal Point, call for temporary location. This group is nurturing, spontaneous, very open to beginners, and offers a comfortable environment for tune making and singing for all types of acoustic music. Admission $3.00.

The Old Time Music Fete is being held in Cahokia, Illinois on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at the Historic Cahokia Courthouse. Jam sessions under every tree, kids arts and crafts, and a professional sound system for the main stage (the courthouse porch) for the enjoyment of all. Food and drink are available for purchase, and there's plenty of shade. Located one block south and one block west of the intersection of Illinois Rt 3 and Illinois Hwy 157. (Cahokia RV Park.) The Focal Point Jam is lots of fun. Big circle with all types of music ie blues, rock, bluegrass,country, fiddle tunes, folk, or whatever else anyone want to play. We get guitars, banjos, harmonicas, stand up bass's, violins, flutes and whistles, dobro's, dulcimers, uke's and any other acoustic instrument. Lots of fun. Come on out...
