This can be a power session with up to 15 musicians sometimes. Very common to see 6-10. We play mainly 'pure drop' traditional irish tunes. ***The craic is mighty***
The Gaf has good food, drinks and a very supportive landlord.
There is always a good crowd of punters, including a bevy of lovely ladies who come for the tunes, drinks, dancing and who generally like to get out of line.

After coming to one of these public Irish/Celtic sessions, one guy emailed me later asking how to get on the email list for the fast Irish session in town! I feel this session is definetly fast enough, but not everyone apparently agrees.
