Hi Everyone,

Greg McCarty is going to host the next monthly jam at his house this coming Saturday, October 17th starting at 1:30 in the afternoon. Greg’s house is located at 12832 Granada Road in Leawood, KS 66209. Mapquest is a good way to find your way there. Call Greg at (913) 269-4277 if you lose your way. Greg has some, but bring a stool and special drinks to be extra prepared if you like. Please shoot me an email (km2km3@yahoo.com) or give me a call if you have any questions. Thanks! Roland Manbeck (816) 868-3724

Common Jam rules condensed:
1. Announce the key and chords being used.
2. Allow room for breaks for everyone around the circle who wants one (that is opportunity to pick out the verse or chorus) and let folks know what the break is (verse or chorus if there is a difference).
3. When someone is doing the break/taking lead, please, please strum softly so we can all hear what that person is doing.
4. Avoid noodling between tunes when the next person is trying to get their song in their head.
5. Have fun and laugh a lot.

I got slammed at work this

I got slammed at work this week -- I couldn't go to Wednesday's Tin Star jam, and I am just now getting to Monday's acoustic jam.I am in search of a file recovery software. That's a good thing, in a way, because there was some real nice music last Monday, and today I have time to put some of it up for you to enjoy.I think backup is necessary for every system.Several of us joined in: Case Tanner on upright bass, Lance Hedden on flute and soprano sax, Britt on drums, and me with tenor sax.
