Lawrence Amtrak Depot Performance

The Depotredux folks would like acoustic bands or jam sessions to busk on the Amtrak platform, or in the depot, depending on the weather. I love the idea of weary travelers encountering a flash mob of musicians at the Lawrence Amtrak depot. The train stops in Lawrence from midnight to 12:32 every day. Take your band, or jam session, down there any night. Busking encouraged.
The address is 413 E. 7th Street. It is across the street from Van Go Arts. It is almost at the intersection of New York and 7th Street, 3 blocks east of Massachusetts on 7th Street, in Lawrence, Kansas. Go early, stay late, or try to hit the exact time that the train is at the station. Bring your own crowd or play for the travelers. Weekends tend to have the fullest trains. If too many bands showing up at once becomes a problem we will increase organization.
