Joe Nelson's Old Time Music Jam

Ths is a slightly different kind of jam but so far as I know the only one in the Savannah area.Joe has a very large repetory of old-timey southern tunes and he provides a well documented list of all these tunes broken down by keyes with chords for those who want them. We only play tunes on the list but there are many tunes to pick from.The Jam is most monday nights 7:30 until 9:30 at a coffee house called "The Sentient Bean". From the Talmadge Bridge take the 1st exit on to Ogelthorpe and after you pass MLK Ave proceed to the first light.Make a right on Whitaker and go to the end of Forsyth Park. Make a left> The Sntient Bean is in the second street on the right. Look up the phone number & call to se if it is on.
