Santa Cruz Bluegrass and Old Time Jam

Hello fellow jammers:

This is a friendly jam where everyone who plays bluegrass and old time can get together and pick and get to know one another. There are typically a number of separate jam circles:
* A slow jam,
* An advanced bluegrass jam,
* An old time jam,
* Numerous spontaneous additional circles.
The location is Oceanview park, so there is plenty of room to spread out and add more jam circles as needed. Oceanview also has a really nice playground and some picnic tables for our child-entertaining and snacking convenience.

When: the jam is the 4th Sunday of every month, starting at 12 noon with a group picnic. The jamming starts at 1pm.

Where: Oceanview Park (Just off Broadway, east of Ocean St.)
102 Ocean View Ave, Santa Cruz, CA.

What to Bring: Your instrument, your family, and maybe some snacks.

The Facilities: Oceanview park has bathrooms and drinking fountains and a really spiffy new playground, large shade trees and lots of lawn with a view of (you guessed it!) the ocean. It does not have a huge amount of parking, so you may need to drop off your stuff and go park, then walk back.
