From October through April, the Brentwood Community Center puts on a bluegrass show the 1st and 3rd Saturday nights of the month. Bands and individual musicians show up and jam in the back room. Bands are scheduled for a 1/2 hour set in front of the audience. Audience members pay $3, musicians with an instrument enter free. Many musicians just jam in the back room and never appear on stage. Great musicians from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas, even Nashville, can be in attendance. Everyone is welcome to sit in, but the music is high quality, fast, and professional.
