Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran Gospel Jam

Given the long association between bluegrass and gospel, I decided to host an all gospel bluegrass jam at Resurrection Evangelical Lutheran. The jam begins with a short devotion and prayer. Then, in true democratic fashion, each person within the circle gets a chance to lead a bluegrass gospel song. Similarly, each person in the circle is offered a break.

Beginners can chord along quietly inside the circle, or pick an unobtrusive spot outside the circle until they build up their chops. We take a short rest to enjoy refreshments around 8:00 PM and then get right back to gospel singing and picking. Loud or quiet, I invite any gospel music lover to join us!
