Acoustic Pickin' Session

The night is aimed at people who appreciate the shared enjoyment of Acoustic music. It is hosted by Guy Rogers of Salmagundi (please see website). We use a single Mic' and participants are given the opportunity to perform their own selection of music as well as jam with others.

We like to encourage spontaneous music and the feeling that anything can happen as that is often how good music is created, if people are happiest with their own formalised arrangements that's OK too.

There is not an abundance of musicians from any one particular genre of music and we have always said that anyone is welcome to come and share their music with us so long as it is acoustic and played with a degree of sincerity or at any rate good humour.
