Hereford Monthly Bluegrass Session At The Barrels

Every first Wednesday of the month the Bluegrass session that used to be at The Priory, Stretton Sugwas, will move into the centre of Hereford city, to The Old Brewery Bar, The Barrels, 69 St. Owen's St, Hereford HR1 2JQ as from Sept 07. The format is gonna be much the same as at the Priory I reckon: pickin' starts at around 8pm and we welcome players and listeners alike. It is a very relaxed atmosphere with no set format - somebody starts a song or a tune and away we go, with solos usually being taken in a cyclic fashion, in one direction or the other, usually directed by well placed nods, grunts or other bizarre signs.
