In the beautiful resort town of Noosa Heads on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, just North of Brisbane, Australia, I run a weekly Irish trad session featuring myself on fiddle, tenor banjo, bouzouki and my good mate Alan Kelly on guitar and the ocassional song. The session attracts players within a 150km radius with flute, fiddle, banjo, button box and the odd percussionist (very odd). We play host to a passing parade of players, old and new, local and international. Noosa is a favourite backpacker destination. The session happens every Tuesday night at Irish Murphy's Pub, Noosa Junction starting about 7.30pm till late. Everyone's welcome!
