Phil O'Flaherty performs at the Hong Kong Fringe Club

Phil O'Flaherty creates original music that owes much to the Celtic tradition, and interprets traditional songs with entirely original results. Formerly the lead singer and guitarist of Canadian Celtic band, Scatter the Mud, O'Flaherty's solo performances and recordings have led to him being described by Dutch folk music magazine, New Folk Sounds, as the Irish James Taylor. Too Fond of Walking, Phil O'Flaherty's first solo recording will soon be followed by a new collection of compositions and arrangements. O'Flaherty's elemental mix of guitar and voice is at once familiar and fresh.
