Urban Monroes at Lighthouse Bluegrass Festival

June 29th through July 1st, 2012, the Urban Monroes will be performing at the Lighthouse Bluegrass Festival being held at Qualicum Bay on the east coast of Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. This means another "Bluegrass Cruise" for the band, or at least another ferry boat trip to get to a festival. As the name implies, the festival takes place in Vancouver Island's magnificent lighthouse country with the festival grounds 30 minutes south of Courtenay and 10 minutes north of Qualicum Beach at 280 Lions Way in Qualicum Bay. Presented by the Mid Island Bluegrass Society, there will be plenty of space for jamming and camping, and the Qualicum Bay Resort is just a 10 minute walk away for those who prefer to rough it with room service...
