Bike the Deschutes Fiddle Music Session
Bike Your Watershed is a yearly environmental event that happens at Tumwater Historic Park in Tumwater, Washington. I'm sponsoring a session in the park to coincide with this event. Bring a chair, we'll provide some refreshments. Open session, we tend to play Old Time, Portland Collection etc. Celtic and French Canadian, so fun.
Biking starts from 8 am to 10 am and features three routes: 5 miles around Capitol Lake, 20 miles and 30 miles up into the Deschutes Watershed (partly along the Chehalis Western Trail).
The Open Session (should we call it Pickin' in the Park?)starts at noon and runs till 2:00 pm. Come in the morning and bike, then stay and play!
Email Laurie Morgan at paula-sonata@comcast.net for questions. This is our second year for the music session - last year there were 200 bike riders - booths and displays, too. For more information, see http://web.mac.com/bikeyourwatershed/Site/Welcome.html.
