Rob Ritter and Christin Kuchem's Birthday Jamboree

Rob and Christin, members of Free State Revival, are throwing themselves a birthday party at Rob's house. We want to get as many pickers as possible to come and jam with us and the bands we know. We're going to have a band scramble, as well as a hand-built stage and PA, of sorts.

If you're not familiar with a band scramble, here's the scoop: All the singers and players throw their names in a hat. Somebody randomly draws out the names in teams of 3 (or 2, or 8, whatever). Everybody gets with their team and they have 5 minutes to come up with a song that they'll perform. All the teams play their song and the whole thing starts over again. Sometimes, magic happens. Sometimes you get 3 fiddle players and they all have their unique interpretations of being in the same key. Ya never know.

There will be some food and snacks available to everyone. Bring your own alcohol. Kids and pets are welcome, however, if you bring either....please plan on watching them the entire time. Keep in mind that there will be drinking. Rain or shine, this party will go on. There will be tents set up in case of inclement weather.

Party starts up at 2 or 3:00, and will continue until we all drop, late into the night.
