Saturday 3/20/10 - AGF (Acoustic Guitar Forum) Get2Gether 12 to 6 PM & House Concert 6:30 to 8 PM!

AGF Get2Gether - Everyone is welcome for food/pickin'/grinnin'/etc, it will start @ 12 Noon & go until 6 PM. Bring any instrument you wish to play or come and just have some fun listening! They will be serving great tasting Burritos with all the fixings, for the Get2Gether. Please give a donation for food so that we will be encouraged to continue having Get2Gethers in the future, $7 per person is suggested. Get2Gether ends @ 6 PM, so we can clear the room for the House Concert.

House Concert - Special appearance of Eric Skye and Tim Connell. Concert begins about 6:30 PM, for those who wish to stay and purchase a ticket. They will perform for about 90 minutes. Call Dennis for reservations! Seating is limited, so call soon. $15 per ticket.

“Mandolin maestro Tim Connell and myself will be doing a house concert Saturday March 20th 2010, at 6:30, in Lawndale California. $15 at the door. Great setting, refreshments.... Tim and I will probably each be doing a few solo tunes (Tim’s solo Brazilian Choro arrangements are frankly jaw dropping in my opinion). The duo is pretty eclectic right now. We do a lot of jazz and Bossa Nova, but we’ve also been doing some Django things, some funk, and even a few fiddle tunes, so there should be something for everyone. If you’re in the area we sure would love to see you.”
