I'm Thankful for ....the Jersey Jam!
|
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! So...How's December 20th for JJ37? I'm unavailable on the 13th and the 6th would be a little too quick, I think. If I get no major complaints and no better ideas, I'll call it tomorrow. ApK Submitted by ApK on Wed, 2008/11/26 - 11:42pm

I'm on call that weekend, so I MAY not be able to make it. The 6th and the 27th work for me.

We all have much to be thankful for, but sometimes the little stuff gets by us. I'm very thankful for being able to derive so much enjoyment from playing guitar. It has been a constant in my life that I have been able to count on in both good times and bad. And now it has introduced me to a group of very special friends with whom I am able to share my enjoyment. Here's wishing a very Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your loved ones. I hope you all have a wonderful day and I look forward to the next Jersey Jam. Andy, I'm still good for any Saturday that suits the group. Thanks and peace to all in these very tumultuous times.

A wonderful sentiment. I couldn't have said it any better. Best wishes to you and yours.

Well, If a lot of folks are up for it, we can do the 6th.
I'd just need to hear from folks soon.
We can do the 27th and everyone can bring their musical xmas gifts!
BTW, if you're shopping for that gift, Musician's Friend is offer 15%off gift certificates today, which seems to effectively mean 15% off of ANYTHING (Want a Martin guitar....) From the email:

OK, based on the two responses, 27th it is!
Hopefully by doing after the holiday shopping season, more folks will be available to make it!
BTW, Apparently folkjam has made some changes to it's forums to make them easier to navigate. Do try it out and send Scott feedback.
