Roots & Blues Fingerstyle/Slide Guitar

Steve James is a nationally respected blues and roots fingerstyle and slide
player. He will start with some basic, melodic, bluesy material; the session
will cover repertoire, picking techniques, "blue" notes and harmony and a
"tool box" of handy runs and fills (including some slide guitar) in standard
and open tunings. See Steve and Del Rey perform at Swallow Hill on
Saturday October 25th. Then come to the workshop on Sunday.
Intermediate level. Bring a guitar, notebook, and sound recorder. Tab and
handouts provided.
