Date and songs for JJ32 in July?

Hey guys, Good seeing Ken, Jim and Stan at JJ31. I know a couple had schedule conflicts. We also have a new forum group member going by the handle 'jloden.' The dust and smoke have cleared a bit from a crazy May and June. Been traveling on family stuff, as you know--Manila, Washington DC, South Carolina...whew! I needs me a git'ar break. How about July 12 or 19?

Good to hear from you guys so quickly!
I like the 12th, for no other reason than it's sooner than the 19th, but both are available.
If any folks have a preference, I'll wait another day or so before calling it.
Patrick had asked about doing a jam on a Sunday instead. We'll have to talk about that. After what I can now accurately describe as 'years of tradition' something just seems unnatural about it...like celebrating the 3rd of July, or Easter Tuesday.
On the whole, I'm more inclined to try get every business in Patrick's area to stay open on Sunday so he can come here Saturday and still get his errands done.
Well, we'll talk about it.
Now...song suggestions? A theme for JJ32?

Hi to all on the list!
My name is Jay Loden, I just joined the group as ApK mentioned. I'm based out of the Bridgewater NJ area and looking to start jamming more and learning some new music. I have been playing several years but seriously started taking lessons about a year ago, so I'm feeling ready to do more playing with other musicians and expanding my knowledge of music.
I am a huge blues fan (acoustic and electric) but I also enjoy rock, some jazz, and just about anything with good guitar parts and some soul to it :-) I'm particularly interested in learning some slide guitar and more blues songs, and for finding some music to put my new resonator guitar to good use.
As far as July goes, as far as I know right now all of July is open for me. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hey guys, I'm still here. Just been a busy few months. I think I've played a grand total of 2 hours the past 6 weeks.
Hey Jay, I'm in Raritan so we're mighty close!
As far as dates, I have no idea what'll come up, so you guys set the date and I'll try like hell to make it.
