Sunday Night Jammers - Rehoboth MA

We play a mix of traditional music from French Canadian or Appalachian reels to Swedish Hambos or new folky waltzes. Mostly the group plays from simple written music (mostly in D, G, A, at a moderate speed) using Bill Mathieson's Waltz Book, the Portland Collection, Peter Barnes English Country Dance book, etc. Meets from about 7 to 9:30 on Sundays at Goff Hall (Public Library) in Rehoboth, MA. Second Sundays are often a potluck at 6pm followed by a free dance. The group has been playing out at local venues a few times a year. Fully active as of Aug 2010
