Monthly Acoustic Jam

Hey Jammers,

June 18th JAM CANCELLED. Sorry, but there's a conflict and we'll not be able to host the May Jam. Check back for July.

1. Have your song ready when we come around the circle to you.
2. Announce key and review the chord progression.
3. Pick decent jam songs and know how to do them. More than 5-6 chords is too many. Likewise avoid chords like C#Maj13. We'll all be really impressed by your expertise and will say so as we gather around the beer cooler and chat until you're finished.
4. If you're there just to strum along, please do so very, very gently. More than 4-5 instruments playing along make it impossible to hear the folks who pick out a lead during breaks/solos.
5. When the singer/leader is finished with the song, please stop playing. If you are really intent on figuring something out like the solo you wanted to play instead of the one you did (happens to me all the time), then go off in a corner to pick away at it. Noodling is distracting and slows down the jam.
