Mountain Arts Gathering is a music camp for adults on the lake-shore campus of
Paul Smith's College in the Adirondack mountains of upstate New York,
from July 18 to July 24, 2010.
The Gathering offers a vibrant and welcoming community for musicians of all ability levels,
and a comfortable and supportive atmosphere for a week full of fun, fellowship, and music-making.
Includes instructional workshops in fiddle, guitar, banjo, flute, tinwhistle, harmonica,
shape note singing, clogging, and more, plus jams and performances in a clean,
intimate setting overlooking beautiful Lower St. Regis Lake and St. Regis Mountain.
This year's instructional staff includes: Grey Larsen, Cindy Kallet, Pete Sutherland,
Lissa Schneckenberger, John Kirk, Trish Miller, Bethany Waickman, Sue Grimm,
Chris Turner, and Rachel Maloney.
