Oldest continuously running annual folk festival in the United States. Main fundraiser for the Philadelphia Folksong Society since 1962. Musical lineup tends to be eclectic from singer-songwriters to bluegrass, old-timey, klezmer, etc. Campgrounds open Thursday morning. Festival officially starts on Friday however there is a free performance for campers only on Thursday night. Numerous jam sessions abound throughout the entire festival in the campgrounds.
