New Richmond Bluegrass Festival
Bluegrass music with a Quebec accent!
Come celebrate the 10th anniversary of Quebec's first and only bluegrass festival which takes place Labor Day weekend. This year's festival will be a week long event with music, free camping and activities for the entire family. Horse rides, guided tours of the historical Gaspesian British Heritage Village and seven days of the best bluegrass music with local traditional musicians as a bonus.
Musical guests in 2011 include Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, the Lonesome River Band, the Tennessee Mafia Jug Band, the Roys, the Bluegrass Diamonds, Ray Legere & Acoustic Horizon, Janet McGarry & Wildwood and more. "After Hours" shows nightly featuring the best in Gaspesian traditional musicians as well as evening shows and jams Monday through Wednesday.
The Village is located on the shore of the Bay of Chaleurs (one of the "World's Most Beautiful Bays") on Quebec's scenic Gaspé Coast.
Come see why we're known as one of the friendliest music festivals around.
Rough camping is free and just a few feet from the main stage.
