Musicians looking to jam

We didn't anticipate the speed at which news on our site would spread nor how far. At just over three weeks old we were pleased to have been picked up by the folk music editor on about.com.

Hey Musicians – Wanna Jam?

I recently received the following email, and couldn't help but share:

Hey just an FYI. Here's a brand new site dedicated to bringing folks that like to jam with acoustic instruments together. Scott from KC just put this up and it's now 3 weeks old. Give it a look-see and support it if you have info on jam sessions, festivals. shows, and what not.

Thanks y'all!

Now, I went to the site and saw that it needed some updating, as no jams were listed for jam-happy Seattle (my current hometown). Then again, the site's still in beta. But what a great resource for folks that are looking to jam! If you don't see anything listed for your area, but know of jams or song circles that take place, you can contribute to the site and let other people know.
