Old Time and Bluegrass jam every Thursday in the Ardmore, TN City Hall Annex, 6:00 to 9:00. The City Hall Annex is on Main Street, behind Pizza Hut.

We are moving the Fire on the Mountain show and jam to a new location.Show is still the last Saturday in the month.The new location is the Coach House Music Hall Located behind the Livery Stable Antique store. We are 3 blocks west of exit 24 on I-24.You can't miss it. It has a huge sign "lighted" outside the building. Also the building is air conditioned and central heated.No need to bring chairs as seating is provided,Also there is a floor to accomodate cloggers. We are located in the small town of Pleasant View, Tennessee.Still no admission.

Slated to start at 9, but the doors open earlier than than and you can find a spot in the circle sometime after 7 pm. As the night goes on, the hotter players start showing up.

The weekend's offerings will be geared to 5-string banjo players at all levels. Instructors: Sonny Osborne, Bill Evans, Kristin Scott-Benson, Alan Munde, Ned Luberecki.
Topics include: tips for bluegrass banjo beginners, tone and timing, the fine points of Earl Scruggs' style, back-up, special licks and techniques, playing slow songs, and dissections of your favorite Osborne solos.
Sonny will also bring along many of his signature instruments, including his famous prewar Gibson Granada and RB-3 as well as the new Osborne Chief banjo.
